Enveng Group has supported the Perdaman Urea Project (Project CERES) since 2021, providing environmental, heritage, sustainability and compliance services throughout the planning, approvals, construction and delivery phases of this nationally significant industrial development. Initially engaged by Perdaman during project development and approvals, Enveng’s role expanded to provide embedded environmental management support to the Saipem-Clough Joint Venture during construction.

Acting as an integrated extension of the project team, Enveng has coordinated environmental management across a complex regulatory environment involving State and Commonwealth approvals, Aboriginal heritage obligations, environmental monitoring programs, stakeholder engagement and construction compliance requirements. Enveng’s approach has focused on integrating environmental, heritage and sustainability obligations into practical project delivery outcomes, ensuring compliance requirements are effectively implemented across all phases of the project.

A significant component of Enveng’s role has involved environmental and cultural heritage management planning, compliance reporting and implementation of approval conditions under Ministerial Statement 1180, EPBC approval conditions and Aboriginal Heritage Act requirements. Enveng has supported ongoing heritage management and reporting activities, including preparation of annual compliance reporting associated with Section 18 heritage consents and Aboriginal heritage commitments.

Enveng has also provided sustainability and environmental governance support through the development of environmental management systems, compliance frameworks, auditing programs, monitoring systems and reporting processes that support both project delivery and broader project financing requirements. This has included support for environmental and social management system (ESMS) implementation, sustainability reporting frameworks and environmental assurance processes expected by project investors, lenders and regulatory stakeholders.
