Enveng Group has supported the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) Project since 2020, commencing during the tender and early planning phases and remaining actively involved through approvals, construction, compliance, sustainability and rehabilitation delivery. The project, now known as the Wilman Wadandi Highway, is one of Western Australia’s largest regional transport infrastructure projects and traverses environmentally sensitive areas requiring extensive environmental management and regulatory oversight.
Initially engaged to support environmental impact assessment, approvals and sustainability planning, Enveng assisted the South West Gateway Alliance in establishing environmental compliance frameworks, sustainability initiatives and environmental management systems aligned with State and Commonwealth approval requirements. Throughout construction, Enveng provided ongoing environmental advisory support, approvals management, compliance monitoring and specialist environmental services across the project corridor.
As the project progressed, Enveng’s role expanded to include environmental rehabilitation, revegetation and landscape delivery. This included coordinating large-scale revegetation works, wetland restoration initiatives, ecological connectivity measures and fauna crossing enhancements designed to support long-term environmental outcomes and legacy values associated with the project.
